Developed and designed in Australia by our founder, Peter Ziegler in 1989, Canterbury Concepts revolutionised the way homes could be retro- tted with grab rails to assist with mobility and independent living.
More secure, greater customisation
Peter designed the grab rails so both ends of the rail attach securely to the studs. The rail is cut to suit the studs thus providing a stronger, double secure attachment adapted for each location. Fixed-length rails, often only have one end attached to a stud because the rail length can’t be altered.
Stylish and functional
The streamlined modular system comes in white and beige, and has two grip nishes to choose from, enabling mobility without being intrusive. Fixed-length rails are not only potentially less secure, they look out of place in a domestic setting, being a heavy-set clinical feature.
